A Message From One of Your Instructors...
As a black belt student at Choson MAA, I am especially thankful for the
instruction, opportunity and friendship at our school. The reason we
are with Choson MAA is because of our respect for and the contributions
of Mr. Tim and Mr. Terrell. Our DoJang offers much opportunity and a very rich
curriculum in the martial arts. It is up to each of us to step forward
and be prepared to learn from each other. Whether in or outside of
class, we as students need to work hard and hold each other to a very
high standard. Tae Kwon Do is more than a sport. It can become a
vehicle for character development. Focus on the positive. Never give
up or accept defeat in anything you do. As you grow in the martial
arts, translate what you learn to real life experiences. Show patience
for those around you. Measure your words. Demonstrate honor and
humility. My primary expectation is for all to come to class prepared
to work to the best of their abilities.
