Programs

Taekwondo

At Choson Martial Arts Academy we teach traditional ITF as well as WTF style Taekwondo. Emphasis is on the 4 disciplines of Taekwondo: forms, sparring, breaking and self-defense. We also strive to instill strong character traits, self-discipline, self-confidence, self-control and respect both for oneself and others to unify mind, body, and spirit.

We offer the following training programs at Choson Martial Arts Academy:

Children

Beginners

This class is geared for the 5 to 12 year-old age group that are at the white to green stripe belt level.

Intermediate

This class is geared for the 5 to 12 year-old age group that are at the green to red stripe belt level.

Advanced

Also geared for 5 to 12 year-olds, this program is for the red to black belt level.

Adults

Beginners

This class is geared for the 13 and up age group that are at the white to green stripe belt level.

Intermediate

This class is geared for the 13 and up age group that are at the green to red stripe belt level.

Advanced

This is class is for age 13 and up who have attained the red to black belt level.

Honto Seishin-Ryu Kenpo Jujutsu

This class is for age 13 and above only. It is practical self-defense, combat proven and street effective martial science geared towards mature and serious students. 

Demonstration Team

This team demonstrates Tae Kwon Do and represents the school at local charity and other selected events.
